RavTrack PC 3.4 adds GPSgate Web Server support.
With release 3.4 of Raveon's GPS tracking software program RavTrack PC, you may use Franson's GPSgate server software to build an dhost your own GPS tracking server. 3.4 also improves the interaction with USB-Serial converters, making their use more reliable. Radio Manager 3.1 released.
Radio Manager is Raveon's Windows software application for configuring its wireless data products and AVL transponders. It has been updated with a few bug fixes, and support for the new VHF radios. It may be downloaded here.

City of Borger Texas Uses Raveon's RavTrack AVL System
Borger, Texas, has chosen to use Raveon’s RavTrack AVL GPS tracking system and RavTrack PC software to track the city’s vehicles. The city has installed Raveon’s M7 GPS transponders in public safety vehicles such as police, and fire, as well is public works vehicles such as solid waste disposal trucks, transfer trucks and trailers.
Borger’s public safety operation response time is aided by having real-time tracking and providing dispatchers with real-time vehicle location information. Historical analysis, mileage logging, and advanced reporting give the city public works department a powerful fleet management tool.
The RavTrack AVL system operates on UHF radio channels, with no recurring fees and the fastest update rate in the industry. The UHF system covers the whole city of Borger, TX and out across much of the panhandle of Texas.
DIN mount option now available for M7 series radios
To make the M7 series of radios easier to mount in a SCADA or telemetry system, Raveon is offering a low-cost DIN mount for the M7 radio.

SmartTracking AVL Software Option
Smart Tracking Enterprise is a multi-user multi-role GPS tracking software application compatible with Raveon's RavTrack transponders. It provides ease of use, reliability, web interface, and data integrity. It uses ESRI maps, an Oracle database and encapsulates the necessary requirements for task and resource management. It has integrated high speed response and visualization capability, combined with an accurate audit trail of all map actions and decisions provide a unique tool that can be used for all AVL applications.
